The Wedding is semi formal/formal. I would recommend a long dress for women and a suit or sport coat for men. I would suggest coats because the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting).

In late December, Charleston, South Carolina's weather is typically mild, with average highs of 60°F and average lows of 46°F. BUT, if a cold front comes through it could be closer to the 30's so pack accordingly.
